Prince of Peace: Jesus painting from 8 year old Akiane - Akiane Kramarik seems to be a child visionary. Growing up in a home with an Atheist mother and a lapsed Catholic father, she apparently began having “divinely inspired visions,” which she translated into poetry and art. By age four she was painting and writing poetry. There can be no denying, at least, that she is a prodigy. When Colton Burpo, boy from the book "Heaven is for Real" saw this picture, he said this is what Jesus looked like

Sweet engagement photo AND a sailor. I do love sailors...:)
A kiss from a sailor
This is EXACTLY like my sweet grandmother Carolyn who I miss so much. She looked almost identical to this girl. Not to mention my grandpa Hal was in the navy and had a suit just like this. Match made in heaven. I love them. Miss you grandma!
Love I know it's a sailor but its too cute not to be in my military file!

CS Lewis on writing
C. S. Lewis #writing a fan and providing guidance.
Write fan letters to 5 authors.
Words of wisdom to writers from C.S. Lewis, who wrote to a young fan in 1956, with some advice regarding her writing.
C.S. Lewis on Writing 1. Always try to use the language so as to make quite clear what you mean and make sure your sentence couldn't mean anything else. 2. Always prefer the plain direct word to the long, vague one. Don't implement promises, but keep them. 3. Never use abstract nouns when concrete ones will do. 4. In writing. Don't use adjectives which merely tell us how you want us to feel about the thing you are describing. 5. Don't use words too big for the subject.
C.S. Lewis gives advice about writing to a young writer. I can't believe wonderful things like this exist!
You know that old trees just grow stronger, and old rivers grow wilder every day, ah, but, but old people, they just grow lonesome waiting for someone to say, "Hello in There. Hello." So if you're walking down the street sometime and you should spot some hollow ancient eyes, don't you pass them by and stare as if you didn't care. Say, "Hello in there. Hello." --John Prine
