Bikes are like typography. They have basic forms and shapes which we all know, but what makes them beautiful is something harder to point out. Proportion, shape and little details, that up close may even seem off-kilter, yet are required to achieve perfect visual balance, must all be in harmony. So many bikes are overdone, like a gaudy decorative font, or imbalanced, like a great font with terrible kerning. This is not one of them.
