Je Tsongkhapa, whose ordained name was Losang Dragpa, was a great 14th century Tibetan Buddhist Master. Je Tsongkhapa patiently taught the Tibetans everything they needed for their spiritual development, from the initial step of entering into a spiritual practice through to the ultimate attainment of Buddhahood. Thousands of Tibetans were inspired by Je Tsongkhapa’s immaculate example of pure moral discipline, compassionate way of life, and profound, liberating wisdom.

the image within helps bring you back to a better place...Inside a spice tin with a patina of rust and alcohol-inked color, a hand-sculpted replica of the ancient Venus of Willendorf goddess figure resides in a swirl of earthy beads, while an embossed metallic moon watches over her pearly form. Frothing tulle trim holds a weighty metal and faux-stone piece suggesting the Triple Goddess form on the lid to the shrine.

When the Conquistadors came to the Americas, they brought with them many of the traditions of Spain, specially those having to do with religion. It was customary in Colonial homes to have a niche in the wall, or a "nicho" featuring the image of a saint, which would bless the house. These could be carved into a wall, or could be made of tin and hung on a wall. So, a nicho is essentially a recessed frame which holds either a figure or an image of a particular saint.

A vacation spot that is ripe with relaxing beaches and enthralling rainforests is available in a country typically known only for its wild savannas and deserts. The country of Kenya has all the makings of the ideal retreat for those who not only enjoy being in nature and around nature’s wildebeests but also like the idea of keeping nature existing for coming years.
