Could do an easy crochet wrap/ poncho like this! no pattern but would be easy to figure out. Make a long rectangle and sew a loop on it.

2 rectangles, sew one shoulder seam, buttons on the other.

DIY: The 4 Squares Nightgown - was going to sew pj pants but this seems a bit easier than tracing all of the different sizes onto the flannel and what not.
