The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak. One of my all time favorite books I have EVER read. Liesel is a girl sent to live with a married couple around the time of WWII. She is a German girl who finds herself hiding a Jew in her house. She finds happiness by stealing books.

One of the best books I think I have ever read...on my top 20 list for sure. This book has gotten me very interested in Ethiopian music and food. Look up on You Tube the song "Tizita", mentioned in the book, performed by Mikael Belayneh...beautiful.
