just saw this yesterday. right off the bat, you realize just how visually beautiful it is, and then you're left breathless by just how phenomenal the music is (at least i was). wasn't expecting that at all. definitely my new favorite soundtrack.

just watched this. and i must say, i was very pleasantly surprised. a very dark re-telling of one of my favorite stories. and two great men in the leading roles: ben barnes as dorian and colin firth as lord henry.

different for girls. watched it this morning. initially drawn to it because of rupert graves, but i fell in love with it quite quickly. it's a beautiful story.

i know! and yes, the tiny songstress thing was probably the best part.

possibly my new favorite movie. it's difficult to explain, but absolutely brilliant.

another one of my absolute favorites. i'm pretty sure i hated it the first time i watched it, but i chalk that up to being a dumb early-teenager that only cared about the backstreet boys and the disney channel.

without a doubt, my favorite movie. i love helena bonham carter, but she wasn't what drew me to this movie. there's something so enrapturing about this movie, and colin firth is magnificent.

The King's Speech (2010)

Okay, first of all, this was the first movie that I went to the midnight showing for. Completely worth it. I've seen it twice since then, and I've increasingly cried like a baby with each subsequent time (what can I say, Snape is my favorite character). Definitely the best one out of the series.
