Best Cobbler You've Ever Had........ Serves 12 1 box yellow cake mix - 1/3 cup butter - 2 large eggs - 29 ounces canned (or fresh!) peaches or apples - 8 ounces cream cheese - 1/3 cup sugar - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Uses sugar cookie dough spread in a pan in a thin layer and baked. Then mix cream cheese (the normal block size, 8oz) with about a1/3 cup of granulated sugar which is spread over the cookie once cooled. This is topped with fresh fruit sliced, usually strawberries. Sometimes kiwi or blueberries or other fruit, depending what is in season....

Blueberry Lemon Cookies //1c unsalted butter, 1c granulated sugar, 2 eggs, 1/2tsp salt, 1/2tsp baking powder, 1/2tsp baking soda, 3 1/4c cake flour, 1 1/2c blueberries, zest & juice of 1 lemon, 1/2tsp cinn,  2tsp vanilla extract, 1c white choc chips //Preheat oven 350. Beat butter & sugar. Add eggs. Add lemon zest, juice & vanilla. Whisk dry ingredients & add to batter. Fold in berries & choc chips. Cool in fridge 1 hour. Bake on a lined cookie sheet for 11-14 mins (edges should not brown)

Sugar Cookies -Pinners says: I made these with the kids the other night (11 Dec 12). They are amazing! They taste like a cross between a shortbread and sugar cookie. The texture is perfectly soft. Definitely up there with my favourite Christmas cookies.
