at first I thought this was just a flower painted on a door that one could walk through ~ from the shadow, I think this is a door leaning against the brick wall. OR maybe the whole thing is painted!! lol It's hard to know if it's a faux door or for real!
putting stone under the bar counter makes sense to minimize scuff marks when people are seated on stools around your breakfast bar...looks pretty. If we ever get around to installing a stone wall in our living room, fireplace surround, I will do this too!
