Delicious roasted brussels sprouts with a light cheese sauce. Freaking amazing. So good. I used an Italian cheese blend and frozen Brussels sprouts. Make sure to bake the Brussels sprouts first AND THEN make the sauce. Otherwise lots of stirring and simmering and waking.... But totally family approved and pretty simple to make.
Bacon Bourbon Baked Beans (I made these in a dutch oven instead, and the first time they didn't seem saucy enough. So on the second try, I doubled up on the amount of BBQ sauce and brown sugar. Also, I used turkey bacon due to a guest who cannot eat pork. The 2nd try turned out GREAT!)
