"LIGHT AS A FEATHER"- Newborn, baby studio lighting tutorial

"My goal for the last few months was to improve my parent shots with great lighting and I feel like I'm finally getting the shots I've always wanted and I'm really loving my lighting too! This course was amazing when I took it (I think I was one of the very first classes) and it has helped me grow as a photographer!" ~Bri Sullivan, Illuminate alumni {Illuminate: studio lighting for beginners}

Before illuminate I had no idea what I was doing with my studio lights or why I was doing it. Now I understand how to use my lights to obtain the look I want to achieve. Illuminate - The Milky Way

Although this was such a bright day I could've used natural light, I wanted to try out all the new things I learned in my lighting class. I wanted to shoot at about f8 and ISO 100 using a one light setup (to see if I could mimic nat light:) with my kit lens 18-55mm. It was a bit taxing for one one sb800, so I put two together...probably breaking all the rules lol! But hey...gotta try out some things! I learned alot...what to do and what not to I will improve on this setup next time:)
