Sunnyside rules

Calm down jar

Another pinner said: This SO worked to help my students find elapsed time! It is the most compact strategy I have seen. We drew the N then labeled counter clockwise from top left: Start Time, Next Hour, End Time, Hour of End Time. Then we went back and filled in the elapsed minutes and hours. To cross over the AM/PM, you can use the double strategy, but my 5th graders were fine with one N.

Start on January 1st with an empty jar. Throughout the year write the good things that happened to you on little pieces of paper. On December 31st, open the jar and read all the amazing things that happened to you that year.
