Unfortunately, this little guy, a yellow throated warbler, wasn't at my feeder.  He somehow got electrocuted on my chickens' electric fence.  Pretty colors...and almost at the western edge of his natural range.

Not my favorite birds, but a small flock of starlings stopped by my feeders for a bit on 3/16.

The Starling was imported from England to help with "pests." Now they have become a pest themselves because they take over the nests of native bird species in the spring and drive them away.

Easter Egger chicken.  We have two chicks.  I wonder what color their eggs will be?

She will lay eggs in a green or bluish shade. Sparkles was supposed to be a girl.guess we'll have baby Easter Eggers running around this fall!
