Visual Solutions to Help Students Stay in Their Own Space~ Some students need behavior clues that they can see. The student who sits at this table kept moving his chair farther and farther away from the activity. To help him stay in one place without continual reminders, the teacher put duct tape on the floor surrounding his chair. Over time the teacher "faded the tape" by picking up small sections of it at a time.

Throughout the school year, write down memories that make you smile. On the last day of class, open it up and reread all of the good stuff that made the year wonderful! Love this idea!
