I never thought losing weight would be this easy.

Awesome blog called the "Kitchen Pantry Scientist", she has tons of great science experiments that kids can do! Here is a Homemade science lab.

Rainbow rice, a cup and a half of rice, a tablespoon of vinegar, and food coloring. Put in a container and shake. When you have made all the colors you want, place grains of rice on a cookie sheets and bake for 10 mins at 175*

Fill your ice cube trays with water, adding a drop of food coloring to each section. When frozen, these can be popped out and put in bath water. They’ll have fun “chasing” them around in the tub and trying to grab them before they melt.

I love this idea! Put a timer on a lamp in your child's room. Set it to where it will turn the lamp on at whatever time they're allowed to get up. Teach them they can't get up until the lamp turns on. :-) Something to think about in the future.
