Whole class journals..each student can write in them on a certain topic and the class can read them at different time. Great 'I'm finished early' activity!

Class journals - once a student writes in it they have the option of choosing a sticker from my collection to place on the front cover. The stickers show me how many kids have tackled each topic. New twist on my classroom journals.

Metaphors and Writing Notebooks...I like how the kids had to "prove" why each metaphor made sense.
