A couple of brunch Sundays ago, we made quail eggs in sweet potato nests. Had leftover sweet potato latke mix and put them in peanut oiled muffin tins. When cooked, we cracked a quail egg and cooked for a few minutes. #quail #eggs #sweet #potato #latke #brunch

Never gets old. B made these for me this morning. Heart-shaped chocolate chip and strawberry waffles. I know he used vanilla almond milk, but outside of that, no clue. But I do know that they were made with love.

Quail Egg Nog. This past Christmas, we used our very own quail eggs to make egg nog! Best egg nog I've ever had. Used a recipe from Alton Brown. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/eggnog-recipe2.html (I used Appleton Rum instead of bourbon) #egg #nog #quail

So I made a steak on Sunday. It was HUGE. I sliced up the leftovers tonight and made a salad. Bok Choy, tomato, steak and the leftover sauteed mushrooms/onions placed ontop... oh and a drizzle of balsamic. Tasty Caduceus Los Ladrones. #steak #leftover

Paella from Cuisine a Latina by Michelle Bernstein. (Page 175). Easy, delicious AND we adapted the recipe slightly to the fish that we had available to us. Definitely can see this one as a crowd pleaser.
