So true, so glad I'm the type of mom that when I make plans for my kids rather it's to reward them or just because I stick to it and do it, and not replace it for something for myself, my kids will always come first,
I've always said since a child "I don't want to be rich"... I learned the value in my family relationships and in being able to distinguish things I need versus things I want, allowing me to prioritize those things I need over those I want and don't need. In the end, rich or poor, you end up 6ft under, the value of your life is in the impact you had onto people as an individual (especially your family) not on the money you had and can't take with you.
Im a mother. I set an example. Good or bad. I aim to teach you. I learn from you as much as you from me. Ive learned from my successes and mistakes so I can lead you in the right direction. I parent with love and mother with responsibility
