Homemade dishwasher detergent. Note from Pinner - this really does get the white film off water glasses. I don't know that I'll ever go back to purchasing expensive dishwashing detergent again. making this tonight. :)

Pinner says: Spring is coming and this is the BEST Weed Spray. I made 3 gallons for around $4.00 last year after seeing a pin. Worked better than Round Up & killed the weeds/stray grass on first application. One gallon of APPLE CIDER VINEGAR, 1/2 c table salt, 1 tsp Dawn. Mix and pour into a smaller spray bottle. (you can purchase 3 gallon size Apple Cider Vinegar in the canning section of a good hardware store - cheap!)

1 cup of HOT Vinegar (microwave 1-2 min) and 1 cup of blue DAWN liquid soap. Shake into bottle and creates a gel that is OUT OF THIS WORLD!

The only thing is that it produces a lot of suds so if you don't have a detachable shower sprayer you'll need a container to be ab;le to splash rinse water....but I'm probably micro-managing the process at this point :)

Scrub your tub faucet with a lemon and it will shine like new! This and other natural cleaning wonders.

The best oven cleaner...Cover bottom of oven with baking soda, then pour vinegar so it's all wet. Let sit around 20 minutes or so then wipe all of it out with damp cloth or sponge. Leave oven door open. After drying you may see some white residue, wipe again.

To remove tough food stains from light wood and plastic cutting boards, slice a lemon in half, squeeze onto the soiled surface, rub, and let sit for 20 minutes before rinsing. The best part? You'll have a house that smells like a lemon grove rather than chemicals.

Seriously? Awesome! Simply rub onto greasy stains and the chalk powder will absorb the grease, making the stain easily removable by the laundry soap in the wash.—going to have to try this...

Cornmeal absorbs grease on light colored fabric or upholstery. Pour enough on to cover the soiled area and let sit for 15 to 30 minutes. Vacuum to remove the grains.
