On the ends of the long sleeves and hem, triangular pieces of wool have been added to increase the length of the garment. SECRETS OF SILK ROAD_EMBROIDERED BOOTS WITH GRADATED COLORS 2nd-3rd century.  These red boots have leather soles.  the opening is edged in yellow silk and lined in felt.  The front of the boots has a design of flowers and plants embroidereed ona white background.  One each side are embroidered gradation of deep red to light red and pale blue to blue.
