Art of sculpture, painting, drawing, printmaking and more
After personally visitingCambodia several times I asked my friend and outstandingguide Kim (firstname.lastname@example.org) when I should come back the next time. Without missing a beat he said in the rainy season! So we did. I invited a few of my paintingstudents to Cambodia for 10 days. We saw over 20 major historicsites museum and temples. We traveled continuously all the way to Thailand border and back to see the magic of Khmer architecture. There is no way to truly describe the colors that appear for a very short time immediately after the rain before evaporating into the hot humid jungle air. Now I know why the rainy season was the right time to visit. While it presented its own challenges the short bursts of magic every day made it all worth it. We painted we drew we discussed we photographed and most importantly we experienced. Here is (the link is in the bio) a humble glance at what we were so lucky to see and experience. A tremendous thank you to Kim all of our guides and to my students for making the trip of a lifetime!
