Report Card/progress report comments - helpful when you can't think of the right thing to say!
Great way to get the kids to assess themselves and their learning. This is an anchor chart to help students decide if they are a novice, apprentice, practitioner, or expert on a skill or concept.
A Formative Assessment Option. My solution was this: A composition notebook and quick formative assessments. The Strategy is one example of many formative assessments that I use in my classroom.
Another pinner: Kindergarten RTI: Letter Identification & Recognition. Very cool letter book. Lexi is no where CLOSE to Kindergarten, but this is perfect for her level right now. This would def keep her happy on the road trips too.
Common Core SUPER FREEBIE...oh yeah
Formative Assessment Stoplight (great exit ticket idea)--I did something like this with my SMARTBoard last year. Then I could save the pages. I made it so the names disappeared behind the lights, that way I was the only one who could see it.
