The last few days alone are enough to look forward to next year. I will not suffer at the hands of others, i will only suffer as a consequence of MY mistakes and not those looking out for me. Plenty of paths to take towards the end goal.
Try to be empathetic. Put yourself in the others shoes. Listen. Resolve conflict with "I feel" statements. Don't blame with "you do this..." Recall the 10 cognitive distortions in daily conversations and TRY to deconstruct them when you resolve conflict.
