Buono! is a Hello! Project unit consisting of three members: Momoko Tsugunaga (leader) and Miyabi Natsuyaki from Berryz Koubou, and Airi Suzuki from °C-ute. Most of their songs are of the rock genre, thus giving the group a different image from the usual idol group. The photo shows them promoting their 2010 live tour. http://sayunii.files.wordpress.com/2010/08/img2010072417081956.jpg

Idoling!!! is an idol group created by Fuji TV back in 2006. The picture shows the original nine first generation members of Idoling!!! (circa 2007). Since then, several new members have joined while only three original members remain in 2012.

After the success of Nobody by the Wonder Girls, Girls' Generation followed up with an equally catchy tune called Gee in early 2009.

The Wonder Girls, pictured here while promoting Nobody back in 2008, was the first group from the Hallyu wave that caught my attention, and thus formally introduced me to KPop.

Another Hello! Project group, Berryz Koubou promoting their single Maji Bomber! in this picture (circa 2010). The group was formed at nearly the same time as °C-ute. Likewise originally an 8-member group, one member has left since.

°C-ute (circa 2008) promoting Namida no Iro. This idol group from the same umbrella group (Hello! Project) as Morning Musume was formed in 2006, but only rose into prominence at around this time. Originally an 8-member group, only 5 members remain in 2012.

AKB48 (circa 2007), while promoting their single Yuuhi wo Miteiru ka. This was when I started following them, way before their popularity boom a few years later.

Morning Musume (circa 2008). This is probably my favorite MM lineup, although all of the original (1st generation) members have graduated already.

Morning Musume (circa 2001). This is the group that got me into the JPop fandom back when I was in high school. Before them, all I knew were anime theme songs.
