Today's classrooms have TV's mounted to the wall. Kids today will never know the pure joy we felt walking into the classroom and seeing the film projector set up

Noxema...a staple in teen-age years

My mom used to use this to wash her face every night before she went to bed. I remember walking into the bathroom and seeing her with this white stuff all over her face. Later, I used it too and loved the clean way it made my face feel!

I loved Highlights magazine--the only trouble was that I only got to read it when I went to the dentist's office!

Mercurochrome and Methylade

Mercurochrome and Methylade, painful stuff on cuts. My grandfather would always put this stuff on our cuts and scrapes.

Zebra Gum! :D

fruit stripe gum - flavor lasted about 10 seconds haha

Anybody remember carbon copies?

Carbon Copy Paper - Thank God for my mother's story of incorrectly placing the carbon paper between the two sheets of typing paper. This saved me in Typing Class. Thanks Mom!

Riding in the back of pickup trucks

Riding in the back of pickup trucks, no seat belts for us. I had twelve siblings and Mom would pile us all in the back of the truck and we would go to town.

The Leggs Egg

The Leggs Egg-best pantyhose ever.if you like pantyhose. The consolation is knowing you got that ostrich-sized egg, too!

I've got something in my pocket. It belongs across my face. I keep it very close at hand, in a very convenient place. I know you will not guess it, if you guessed a long long while. So, I'll take it out and put it on. It's a great big Brownie smile! :)

I remember this style Brownie scout uniform when I was in second and third grade. It was better looking than the gack green junior scout uniform I wore later on.

Funny Confession Ecard: I switched to Herbal Essence shampoo and sadly discovered I don't have a G-Spot on top of my head like those women in the commercials.
