Christy Papania-Jones was the 2015 recipient of the St. Margaret Catholic School Distinguished Graduate Award. Mrs. Papania-Jones finished SMCS in 1988.  She has devoted her career to Catholic education and is the owner of the St. Nicholas Center.

In honor of All Saints Day 2014, Saint Margaret Catholic School held the "Parade of Saints."  The observance began with a prayer service involving kindergarten through eighth grade students, with each student dressed as their favorite saint.  Mrs. Wendy Wicke, school principal, portrayed St. Anna.  Mary, her daughter, dressed as the Blessed Mother.
