From Krazy Kool Cakes: We do a lot of 2D standing cake toppers here in our studio. This rainbow cake topper we're drying now is just one example. So how do we make them STAND UP on our cakes? It's EASY. We create little gumpaste bricks, a little less than half an inch thick, insert a lolly stick a little more than half way up the brick, then glue it to the back of our topper. These are 8" lolly sticks but you can certainly add smaller ones if you wish.
