*Made: Spicy Parmesan Shrimp Pasta: There isn't much to this recipe but that's ok! It had great flavor that really surprised me! I really liked this dish!

*Made: Spiced Roasted Cauliflower: Simple, flavorful and healthy. Good side dish.

*Made: Ultra Juicy Turkey Burgers: These sure do live up to their name. A big concern when doing turkey anything is how dry it usually turns out. These held up very nicely and had a ton of flavor.

*Made: Salmon Croquettes: I was so scared to make these. I just thought they were too fancy for me. They turned out surprisingly well. The only complaint is the recipe didn't go over how finely cut the fish needed to be to make the patties. I ended up using larger chunks and they were good.

*Made: Broccoli and Chicken Stir-Fried Rice: I thought this turned out pretty nice. I didn't make it with the chicken (I made a pork dish instead). Nice way to work in those veggies

*Made: Brie & Avocado toast: This is a new staple in our house. We use multi grain or whole grain wheat loaves of bread and a tip is to not cook the brie. Bring it on while the the toast does it's thing in the oven and then throw it on for the last 2-3 minutes of cook time. Otherwise the brie just disappears.

*Made: Tuscan Mac n Cheese: Has unique flavor for mac and it's a nice way to include veggies. But overall it's meh at best.

*Made: Substituted some of the butter for pan drippings and it was pretty darn good. Turkey Gravy Recipe with instructions to make it with or without drippings. All you need is butter, flour, black pepper, chicken or turkey stock and/or drippings! Perfect for Thanksgiving!

*Made: Toasted Italian Sandwich. I think this would be better as a panini. But the flavors were all good.

*Read: Bridget Jones's Diary: I loved the movie, I loved the book even more. She says everything a woman has ever thought. Troubles with weight, men, friends, work and so much more. Loved it.

*Read: Warm Bodies: This book took me a while to read because I wouldn't give it a chance. It was just so slow for me in the beginning an honestly I just never got into it. I think it was well written, but I felt it just lacked something....

*Read: Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children: This book sucked. Ok I shouldn't say sucked, but nothing happened. It was the longest prologue ever. There was never an arch. Just a kind of extremely slow slope

*Made: Cheese Potato & Smoked Sausage Casserole: This was ok. It was the stick to your bones, warm and hearty kind of meal. Few ingredients and cheap.

*Made: Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Bacon in a Mustard Cream Sauce: These were so yummy. I could eat them all by themselves.

*Made: Pesto Crockpot Chicken: I really enjoyed this. Only a few ingredients. My kind of meal.

*Read: Allegiant: Veronica Roth: I loved the first two books so I was excited for the finale of the trilogy. What a let down. It was slow, repetitive, preachy, and down right boring. There was allegedly all this action going on, but as a reader I didn't feel any of it. The readers deserved so much more from the writer

It took me forever to read because I kept falling asleep. So disappointed.

I was very disappointed. Even when "the thing" at the end happened, I kind of didn't care because the book was so blah already by then.

*Made: Spicy Romano Chicken Pasta: This was ok. The artichoke hearts and sun dried tomatoes gave it a good pop that it needed. Ill be adding more spice next time

Made: Avocado Chicken Enchilada Casserole... Very yummy. Wasn't too heavy and it had lots of flavor

*Made: The Ultimate Creamy Mushrooms: So I made this and I loved it. However, I changed it a bit. I added thyme while cooking and I used the lemon by squirting it over the top at the end. So yummy and my fiance doesn't like mushrooms or fried eggs so it was ALL mine ;)

*Made: Parmesan Chicken Bake. I liked it but it was a tad salty just like the comments say. We made it with just the mayo, but I'd love to try it with the yogurt.

*Tried: Cracked Heel Remedy solution. My feet were REALLY bad and this worked so well. Now that I live in the desert I'm doing this once a month
