Tarragon
Unlike many woody herbs, TARRAGON, is winter-dormant and is grown as an annual in most parts of Sonoma County. This is best transplanted. Look for “French Tarragon” for the preferred culinary variety. Fresh sprigs of tarragon can be used to infuse oil or white vinegar. Fresh chopped leaves added to butter is a tasty savory spread. Don't miss out of this sensational culinary herb!
