Candied bacon: Bake the bacon at 375° F for 8 or 9 minutes, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cayenne pepper. Bake for a further 5 minutes or so until caramelized. The recipe says "This doesn't keep well." Oh, really? In my house (and probably in most others), it won't have to: I'd eat it straight out of the baking pan.

Cinnamon Sugar Pull-Apart Bread. What's fun about this is that you pull it apart in sheets rather than chunks. If you've ever pulled a flaky biscuit apart, you'll know what I mean.

Cheddar Bacon Ranch Pulls

Cheddar Bacon Ranch Pulls. Fabulous idea, but I'd tweak the recipe as follows: first, substitute about a pound of fresh bacon, cooked to your liking and then crumbled, for the prepackaged bacon bits. Next, use 16 oz. of really sharp cheddar, grated (recipe says "thinly sliced," but that's too much work). Finally, add a dose of cayenne to the ranch dressing/butter mix. Scrumptiously rich and gooey!
