Art Discovery Center
Painted in bold colors and intricate designs inspired by the Asian collections of the GWV Smith Art Museum, the Art Discovery Center is a place for visitors to try on costumes and armor, play gallery games, and create their own works of art. Follow this board to see what creative ideas are unfolding!

We're fascinated by the Cabinet of Curiosities on the first floor of the George Walter Vincent Smith Art Museum, so we thought we'd come up with a way that kids can make their own!
Cuddle up and read some books in our reading nook with your family, and then draw an onomatopoeia comic strip to add to our book!
Come check out our new literacy program, Swish, Swizzle, Splash! It's all about onamotopoeias and you can be part of our comic book! This program will run throughout 2015.
Come to the Art Discovery Center between 12 and 4 any day the museum is open for hands-on activities and creative art projects!
