So true! We must adapt for the student! Everyone has different learning styles! // ive been saying this for a long time! It goes for students, children and even employees!
everyone learns differently. education quote
So true. Often children don't learn because we as teachers fail to teach things in relevant ways. We need to engage students, not just feed them information and hope that they learn it.
Teachers get way too fancy these days trying to teach children all these new concepts for coming up with problems like 1+1=2, no wonder our children are having trouble in school these days!

This is special education...Some students need more than others to succeed. This is what you say when people say it isn't fair that special education students get extra stuff. I actually had a gen ed teacher say it wasn't fair that a special ed student got more time on an assignment. The student probably thinks it's not fair that he has a learning disability. So true
this is like the kid friendly version of the quote I teach by - What's fair isn't always the same, what's the same isn't always fair.
As one of four kids this was one of the best lessons I learned in grad school. A teacher quoted it!
