2019 and Prior
From Aurélie @autour.du.papier - The Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper is perfect for creating boxes. With the Stamp Set Friend are like Seahells (158203) and Seaside Spray Ribbon (150446). Don't these boxes make you want walks by the sea and evenings in the garden? Deeply beautiful days ! Created with Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper (154288)
From Zsuzsánna @zsuzsanna_balazs - Simple Designer Series Papers are great for Scrapbooking Layouts. With the Fine Art Floral DSP and Well Suited DSP, the photo is in focus. With flowers cut out with the Perennial Petals, Dies (154321), I have set some accents as eyecatchers. The great grid DSP is perfect for journaling. Created with Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper (154558) and Well Suited Designer Series Paper (154562).
From Krista @Stampindolce - I was so happy to see that the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper was not retiring from the annual catalogue! This means we get another full year of this beautiful paper! I love all the textures and patterns in this paper. It speaks to my architectural heart!❤ Created with In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (152494) and Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes (153069).
From Jeanna @stamptimesomewhere - When I saw the beautiful Peony Garden Designer Series Paper in the Peony Garden Suite I instantly fell in love, so what better paper to create a gorgeous, fancy fold wedding card with? This card design that was recently shared with me by a friend allowed me to showcase FIVE of the patterns (although honestly, you could probably show off even MORE). Created with the Peony Garden DSP (152483).
From Jan @thinkingstamping - The Sand & Sea DSP is not only beautiful on cards but it is robust enough for bespoke packaging. A simple fold to reveal the reverse side of the paper gives quick and coordinated accents for any project, as does fussy cutting elements (like the seashells) from the DSP. Created with the Sand & Sea DSP (154288), Friends are like Seashells stamp set (156205), Painted Labels Dies (151605) and Tasteful Labels Dies (152886).
From Tammy @stampspaperscissors - I just love all of the DSP collections! It always adds a fun pop of color and pattern to my projects. And...what I love even more is using multiple DSP collections on the same project. On this card, I used a combination of three DSP that worked well together. Created with In Good Taste DSP (152494), Peony Garden DSP (152483), Subtles 6" x 6" DSP (153072) and See The Good Stamp Set (152637).
From Leah @ellefedynak - I took the opportunity to use the 2019-2021 In Color DSP in Purple Posy (since it is retiring soon) and stamp over it with a background stamp in Highland Heather. I also used the new Natural Touch DSP as a contrast with the purple and Misty Moonlight. Created with 2019-2021 In Color DSP (153071), Natural Touch Specialty (156825), Wild Roses (154363), Circle Celebration (154440), and Blossoms In Bloom (158283).
From Tanya @tanyareespapercraft - The stunning butterflies in these cards have all been diecut the Butterfly Bijou 6x6" Designer Series Paper (no longer available). Whilst I love stamping sometimes you just can't go past making a feature out of the amazing imagery on our DSP. Created with sentiments from Always In My Heart stamp (154337), Pretty Perennials stamp (154435) and Art Gallery (154421).
From Narelle @narellefarrugia - The Peony Garden Designer Series Paper pack is full of gorgeous colours and patterns. The flowery images are perfect for colouring, cutting and taking pride of place on your cards. Created with Peony Garden DSP (152483) and Prized Peony Stamp (152504).
From Martin @Martinmayhem - The Well Suited Designer Series Paper has this wonderful grid pattern available in the pack. As soon as I saw it I was reminded of cross stitched patterns with these block of colours. Well the idea was there as I attempted it with a floral design. What next? Space Invaders, maybe? Created with Well Suited DSP (154562) and Strong & Beautiful Stamp Set (148732).
From Angela @stampingbeautynz - I love using Designer Series Paper to create my cards, its beautifully coordinating designs and colours make it a fabulous backdrop for adding images and sentiments to. The white embossed and die-cut butterfly from the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle. Created with Butterfly Bijou DSP (no longer available), Butterfly Brilliance Bundle (155281) and Well Said stamp (148796).
From Charlet @i.heart.stamps - Black and white pattern papers will always steal my heart. They are so versatile. The True Love Designer Series Papers are full of fantastic black and white designs that look great in B&W or colored. I've used three of the patterns from this paper pack on this card and have colored the papers using Stampin' Blends to create a unique look. Created with the True Love DSP (154281) and Many Messages stamp (154510).
From Nina @mamaninadesign - One of my favorite Designer Series Paper is Ice Cream Corner. I used the blue/green one and punched out some circles (made with the 1 1/2" circle punch). I glued the circles together, stamped them with VersaMark and heat embossed in white. Created with the Dragonfly Garden Bundle (156226), Beautiful Friendship (149252) stamp set, Ice Cream Corner (154567), Well Suited DSP (154562), Subtles DSP (153072) and In Good Taste DSP (152494).
From Jenn @papercraftbyjenniferfrost - Most Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper packs include a simple pattern, like this stripy piece from the Dandy Garden Pack. I love how my friend Susan @stampinsusanwong will often dress basic patterns like this with stamped imagery. I used one of her sketches as a base, stamping with the Lovely You stamp set. Created with Dandy Garden (154297) and Lovely You (152525).
From Susan @stampinsusanwong - The concept behind this set of cards was to showcase the Butterfly Bijou 6x6" DSP (no longer available). A simple layered card sketch courtesy of my friend Charlet @i.heart.stamps, and it all came together easily. I'd love to see how you change up this design with your favourite pretty papers! Created with sentiments from Rooted in Nature (148217) and Sweet Ice Cream (154456).
From Lauren @lalipeach - The Hydrangea Hill DSP is right up my alley with its soft, watercolor tones and muted patterns. It was perfect for creating a dimensional hydrangea for my card. I used the coordinating dies to cut some blossoms and layered them directly on top of the flower and bent up the petals for added texture realism. For an extra touch of sparkle, I added some “Whale of a Time” sequins to the centers of each blossom. Created with the Hydrangea Hill DSP (154570).
