Mix equal parts coconut oil and baking soda to remove adhesive on jars

Clean stainless steel: 1 Tablespoon of Cream of Tartar with a couple drops of water. Rub and scrub. Then rinse.

Baking Soda and Peroxide Cleaning Solution ~ Put about 1/4 cup of baking soda in a small glass bowl and squirt in hydrogen peroxide until it makes a nice paste. Then I rub it on the offending dirt/stain/grease…whatever! Use your fingers… or a small sponge.

I live in a 30 year old house on a Navy base, and my sink has looked gross since the day we moved in. I have tried bleach, ajax, 409 and on and on. This is my favorite blog and her simple, natural way to clean the sink worked wonders I was blown away by how great my sink looks!

Lemon as Laundry Brightener Skip the bleach—add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of lemon juice to the wash cycle to brighter up those fading whites.

Use boiling water instead of tap water to make clear ice. Great for putting fruit, flowers or surprises in.
