Patchwork no sew blanket I made for my niece: cut 12" squares out of fleece, cut about 12- 1/2"-1" tabs on all four corners. When all pieces have been cut, hand tie one square to another, alternating patterns/ colors. Once you have a row of 6, 8 or 10 depending on length, attach rows to each other by tying by hand again. After you have assembled top, cut a single larger piece of fleece in coordinating color for back & tie to all four edges. Tada!

paint a piece of wood (could paint a solid color, or paint a design/pattern like this one), sand and distress/age the corners, then attach a regular picture frame on top.
