Garden Shed with Extra Storage Designer Annette Joseph took a typical shed from a simple outdoor storage unit to a pretty and functional garden planting and prep room. Splashy yellow and red paint -- found in the discount closeout bins -- jazz up the exterior, while the interior includes storage solutions for tools, a garden hose, pots, and more. Great idea for a large back yard: Use your solar lights. They aren't just for the ground! Take a 2x4 and cut them into squares to fit the existing fence posts. Using galvanized screws - not nails - to screw a "L" bracket to the underneath base. Then on top, screw on the stake.

SECRET Fertilizer :) My 'fertilizing cocktail' consists of mixing 1/2 bottle of cheap beer, 1 tablespoon of Epson salts, and 2 tablespoons of fish emulsion in a watering can (1-2 gallons). I do this to ALL my vegetable, flowers, and indoor plants. You will definitely notice the difference in a few weeks! Don't waste too much money on the beer. Cheapest still works great -- plants aren't picky!
