DESK AND BOOKCASE. Probably Midwestern, ca. 1820 -1840. Well-figured curly maple with cherry interior. Poplar secondary. Rich color with mellow finish. Three-drawer base with panel sides, turned front feet and inside taper on the rear feet. Bookcase has two fixed shelves behind four paned doors.
