MAMMATUS clouds are most often associated with the anvil cloud & severe thunderstorms. They often extend from the base of a cumulonimbus but may also be found under altocumulus, altostratus, stratocumulus, & cirrus clouds as well as volcanic ash clouds^

Tornado

Kids: If you see a tornado, don't just stand there making a recording of it. Tornadoes are dangerous! So, get down into your basement with your family as fast as you can! Also, stay away from windows and get under a sturdy table for protection.

Super-cell Lightning, Snyder, Nebraska Under a super-cell thunderstorm, a "wall cloud" or "pedestal cloud" may form. This is frequently associated with tornadoes and micro-bursts. Here, a "cloud-to-ground" lightning bolt strikes from a wall cloud.
