Love this idea for wrapping a gift for children (or, heck, adults).

In love with this letterpress holiday card by Sugar Paper.

45wall design: 2011 Holiday Card.

In preparation for next year. (I'm not two weeks late, I'm FIFTY weeks early!) Pretty, basic letterpress cards from Yes Ma'am.

This is a sophisticated replica of the felt advent calendar we had growing up. My brother and I used to fight over who would get to place the star (#24) every year. (We took turns.) Now, if only I could find it already made... From Purl Bee. (They sell a kit, for more crafty folks than me.)

Love this marriage timeline. Smart (and romantic!) idea. From YouAreMyFave.

We use an advent candle that counts down the days to Christmas, but I really like this idea of using 24 candles. (Plus, it's probably less expensive than tracking down and importing a proper Advent Candle from Scandinavian every year. Just sayin'.)

Dream House: snart första ljuset..

I could have sworn I pinned this two years ago, but I can't find the pin. Modern easter eggs from Lindsay & her Little House Blog. Simple perfection.

Really pretty origami "bipyramids." From Mr. Printables.

Jordan Ferney's "Top 10 Things to Give." From Oh Happy Day! Especially love the personalized pencils and "Poster of the Stars." (Wish I'd come up with that idea!)

Pretty, simple tablescape from The Gliter Guide. Warning: requires the use of glitter. Duh.

I know it's not Chrsitms anymore. But I think these "glitter bulbs" from Sweet Paul could be used any time of year. Darling.

Love this photo valentine from Gabriel Blair (Design Mom). We're still a few years away from needing valentines, but it's not too early to pin!

Ice Luminaries, from Design Mom. So pretty and simple and lovely. They would be perfect for a New Year's Eve Party.

Flag Sculptures by Jordan Ferney for Project Wedding. I love these, and I can think of so many ways to use them!

Great family shot for a Christmas Card, no? By Max Wagner/Our Labor of Love.

For Wee Elsie? From Arcadia Home.

I'm not a fan of artificial trees, but this "tabletop" tree from Arcadia Home is lovely. 24".

Advent calendar candle, from "Nordisk Import." "Kalenderlys Marmor."

Truly lovely idea for a Christmas tree: Miracle Fruit.

Love this method for displaying stocking gifts on Christmas morning. ("Apples, nuts, cookies & marzipan.") From Zuhause Wohnen.

Washi Tape Christmas tree. Wee Elsie would love this!

"Scandinavian Inspired" mantle, styled by Emma from The Marion House Book for The Globe & Mail. I love Scandinavian everything else, so little wonder this is the holiday mantle I would choose, too.

And yet another advent calendar. This one is made of cookies! By Victoria Rushton.

I really love these Christmas cards from Oh Happy Day. ("Watercolour + Letterpress Christmas Cards.") Oh, to have personalized letterpress cards. As though I need another reason to covet a Vandercook.
