The first Brussels flower carpet took place in 1971 on the Grand-Place by the landscape architect E. Stautemans. Since then there have been 18 flower carpets and they have appeared every other year since 1986. The main component of every carpet is the begonia. The Roman Pool at Hearst castle is a tiled indoor pool decorated with eight statues of Roman gods, goddesses and heroes. The pool appears to be styled after an ancient Roman bath such as the Baths of Caracalla in Rome c. 211-17 CE. The mosaic tiled patterns were inspired by mosaics found in the 5th Century Mausoleum of Galla Placidia in Ravenna, Italy.

Every year we look forward to seeing the photos of the most beloved street art photos discovered by Street Art Utopia. Here is a selection of street art photos from around the world, each with different social messages and graphic styles.
We love it when street artists get really thoughtful about choosing the locations and placement of their work. This spectacular piece was created by Nuxuno Xän on a wall in Fort De France, Martinique. A tree growing up behind the wall playfully completes the mural by serving as most of the hairdo belonging to the suave person painted on the wall itself, who appears to know just how awesome his hair is. Unbelieavable Photograph Optical Illusion optical illusion
This self portrait was created by Laura Williams in 2013, using photography as a medium. This photograph inspires me because she has made herself appear to be invisible in this photograph. An illusion of seeing straight through her is created. In addition, her face conveys the fear that she feels in this photo.

Mirror mirror in the grass Although the subject is in the smack dab middle of the photo, it's still interesting because it takes a moment to realize why she has no body. Her intriguing expression lends the picture a more sinister feel. The black background contrasts greatly with the light green field. However, there isn't much motion in the picture -- no strong diagonals or leading lines.
great photo idea!

One of Klevan’s main attractions is an overgrown section of railway that visitors can walk across known as the Tunnel of Love or Green Mile Tunnel . According to Atlas Obscura, the railroad track is approximately 7km from the city center and stretches about 3km (1.86 miles).

The Tunnel of Love in Ukraine, Kleven In this photo you see the abandoned railway track, located nearly 350km from Kiev, which has transformed into a special romantic place, frequently visited by couples. The Tunnel of Love is especially beautiful in spring, when the green trees growing from both sides of the track form an improvised arch around it. This arch stretches for up to three kilometers and looks like a green picturesque tunnel of trees.
Tunnel of Love in Klevan, Ukraine This railway engulfed in a tunnel of leaves is a Pinterest favorite and a Ukrainian hot spot for lovers. Peek a Boo Photo and caption by Graham McGeorge / National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest --- Photographing wildlife in Florida is never the easiest task. One of the differences from photographing wildlife in other states has to be the abundance of biting bugs, ticks, deadly snakes and extreme heat and humidity. After bushwhacking my way through the brush, mud and water I was able to set up my gear, and still giving a good safe distance between myself and the nest.
