ConKerr Cancer collects pillowcases that they donate to kids with cancer. It can be tough to find simple service projects that don't take much time and that you can do at home or with a group...(ie: church group, kids class, etc.).

Great list of ways to encourage and help your kids give to someone in need. Examples: deliver trash bags to mailboxes in the neighborhood with a note to fill with shoes to donate to kids in Haiti and collection date, make gift bags for kids in the hospital, blankets for babies in the NICU, shoeboxes for Christmas, sponsor a child and send pictures they made.
