Birka: "Das Original weist Partien von 6 - 15 cm mit abwechselnt Gold und Silberschuß auf.In der Musterpartie befinden sich 17 vollständige Brettchen. Von den angenommen 6 Kantbrettchen sind 4 noch erhalten. Zusammen ergeben sich also mindestens 29 Brettchen. Die Schußdichte beträgt 20 - 25 Schuß / cm. Wobei das Gold am dichtesten gewebt ist. Die Unterseite ist etwas unregelmäßig. Fundort: Birka Grab Nr.824 sowie artverwand in Grab Nr. 731 und 750"
