Magdalenas are small sweet cakes that are rich-tasting, but light and fluffy. The Spanish traditionally eat them at breakfast with cafe con leche, and they are said to have originated in AragAndoacute;n. They are also good with hot chocolate.
Mom would bake and cook with all of us! We got to stir the cake batter, roll cookie dough, knead bread dough and just have fun! We got our hands wet, our faces dirty and had a blast together in the kitchen!! I remember trying to crack eggs wasn't easy, but it was so fun to be apart of something special! :))
