Art with a message: A number of the new works deal with the devastation of the natural marine habitat

The world's largest underwater sculpture lies below the sea off the coast of the Bahamas. Conservationist and artist, Jason deCaires Taylor created this incredible sculpture inspired but the greek myth, Titan Atlas. The gharial (Gavialis gangeticus), also known as the gavial, and the fish-eating crocodile, is a crocodilian of the family Gavialidae, native to the Indian Subcontinent. The global gharial population is estimated at less than 235 individuals, which are threatened by loss of riverine habitat, depletion of fish resources and use of fishing nets.
