Colonel Jr. Newton Cox of Bay Hill died Feb. 7 at the age of 94. He served his country for 30 years in the Army Corps of Engineers, playing an important role in some of America’s chief engineering endeavors, including the development of NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral.
