Swiss Meatloaf and Noodles with Buttered Crumbs -- savory alternative to traditional meatloaf and a big hit at my house

Smoked Turkey and Lentil Soup (Page 167 in my Land O Lakes Treasury of Country Heritage Meals & Menus cookbook) The smoked turkey gives this hearty soup a great flavor. Chock full of fresh veggies. Dan loved it. (This was also the first time I used my new-to-me Wagner Ware Magnalite Dutch oven. All I can say is wow -- how come I never knew about this stuff before?)

Made this on 2/25/12. Followed recipe exactly. Pie was slightly runny, even after refrigerating. After research, I have determined that the toffee should have boiled longer -- probably at least three hours.
