Hadn't seen this before but it's been on my list of movies I wanted to see. It was long and a little slow, but overall I think it was worth watching. The story is good, Nicole Kidman plays her part to perfection, and I love the little boy in the story.

How is it that this movie is 15+ years old and I'm just now seeing it? It is long, but well worth the watch. Great story, highly recommend.

Extremely graphic (of course-it's Tarantino) so I had to hide my eyes for several parts. Very little truth to be found in it (if only), but still found it worth watching.

Not a big sports fan, but I often enjoy sports movies. This one did not disappoint. Brad Pitt never does. :) Based on a true story, which I almost always enjoy, it will have you rooting for the underdog.

Tintin-couldn't really get into this movie. I only half watched it so can't give an honest opinion, but Jack said it was "sooo boooring".

Sarah's Key. Excellent! I saw this book some time ago, and wanted to read it, but this subject is difficult so I hesitated. When I saw it had been made into a movie, I decided to rent it. So glad I did. Not a true story, but written around actual events, it tells of France assisting Germany (even before they were occupied by Germany) in their persecution of the Jews. I had no idea. The story will tear your heart out, but the acting is incredible. It is a MUST SEE!!

A very touching, inspiring story. The characters are endearing, although I wasn't terribly impressed with the acting. Based on a true story which always gives a movie extra points in my book. I like for peoples' stories to be told and in this case, see them get some acknowledgement for their sacrifices and courage.

Harry Potter-finally finished all of these. Very enjoyable! I will say the early ones are appropriate for younger kids (Jack), IMO, but as they go on they get "older"-A bit more "scary". I suppose that makes sense as they were written for kids the age of Harry, and as he grows, so do they. I didn't really expect to like them, but they were quite entertaining. Perhaps I'll read the books. :)

Woody Allen movies have a select audience, but this movie hit a chord with me. It's all about longing for a different time, a bygone era. Some may find it a little slow, but I liked it a lot.

Left me feeling frustrated at the end, but an interesting, and somewhat ugly, look at the inside world of politics. I recommend.
