"buzzard wing" broadaxe The blade is stamped, Daniel Stop and the date is 1829 in Roman Numerals. It also has the date of September 17 in Roman Numerals. The letters in the stamp are very small. It appears to have been made in America or at least in an English-speaking country although the style is Germanic.
