Tea Bag Folding is a paper craft also known as Miniature Kaleidoscopic Origami. Unlike traditional Origami, Tea Bag Folding uses several identical shapes of paper (usually square) folded exactly the same way. These folded shapes can be interlocked or placed next to each other to create a symmetrical medallion that you can use on your cards, scrapbook pages or as ornaments. Today, I'm sharing a Video Tutorial on Tea Bag Fold using Circles to create the Blossoms shown below. Supplies: Pattern Paper Circle Punch Adhesive Pearls or Gems Here's a photo of each step folded for easy reference: Step by Step directions: You'll need 6 circles to complete your flower Fold circle in half Open, fold in half the other direction, unfold With fold at the top, fold corner to center fold line (should look like 3rd photo) Repeat for left side (last photo) Repeat with all circles, adhere to smaller circle to create your blossom Here's a finished project using one of the Tea Bag Folded Blossoms: Click to Enlarge Details: Stamps - Stampotique Originals Ink - Chocolate, Caramel Card Stock - White, Chocolate, Pattern Paper Other - Flourish Gems, Prima Flower Center, SU Butterfly Embosslit, Spellbinders Oval Dies, Heartfelt Creations Window Scene Die, Stipple Brush, Dimensionals, Glue Dots If you try Tea Bag Folding, I'd love to see your creation!
