I appreciate his creativity, his ambition, his courage, but also his disregard for rules. I was in awe of his ascent and of his fall. I chose the moniker Icarus.mid.air as an ode to moments of pure joy, to bad decisions, to brokenness, to imminent destruction. A hymn for flight, for wings and for light. And an elegy for the transient, the ephemeral, the fall... yearning for nois...
Konrad Dielitz is a German portrait and fantasy painter. Born in 1845 in Berlin, was the son of a well-known literary man. He made his first stroke of fortune as a portrait painter, and the reputation he thus gained brought him an appreciative public for his genre, historical, and legendary compositions.
