Beef and bean chilli

Chilli Con Carne. For Richard. Add 2 tspns cinnamon powder to meat while browning, and a grated carrot to mix when adding beans. Use ordinary chopped tomatoes and add a teaspoon of Sambal Olek and 2 teaspoons of Ajvar to the tomatoes. Don't bother with the beef stock. Allow to simmer until thick. Cool completely, skim off any fat. Seal into 1 cup portions and freeze for lunches. Serve with steamed green beans, tbspn grated chees, 2 corn tortillas and a dollop of yoghurt.

Strawberry frozen yoghurt

Strawberry Frozen Yogurt. Adding a tablespoon or so of strawberry liqueur and sub maple syrup or rice malt syrup for honey. Next time put the first blitz into ice cube trays - quicker to freeze and easier to do second blitz. Then freeze in shallow Tupperware containers.
